STREET
Before anything else, I’m a street photographer.
The street is where I grew up. As a teenager, roaming round, meeting the world for myself, getting into trouble and finding my own ways out, getting drunk on the romance of chance encounters and the beauty of other peoples stories. Falling in love with life itself
Years later, when I'd strayed far from the path, photography became my way back to where I’d come from and who I really am
I walk with a camera not because I’m chasing a moment or even trying to make a certain kind of image, but because it reminds me to look and look again, to listen to the beauty of humanity as it carries on the wind. My camera is the device that lets me tune in to the symphony of the world around me.
